Resources

At Gorge Lactation & Wellness, we know that caring for yourself and your baby often takes a village. Below are some of the local and national resources we trust and share most often with families in our community.

Columbia Gorge Perinatal Mental Health Initiative (CGPMHI)

The Columbia Gorge Perinatal Mental Health Initiative is a community network of professionals and volunteers working together to improve mental-health care for parents during pregnancy and postpartum. The initiative offers free support groups across the Gorge each week.

Our group is one of these local gatherings—co-hosted by Michelle Gerbi and Leah Kane, LCSW—meeting every Wednesday from 8:45 to 9:45 a.m. at Gorge Lactation & Wellness, 1029 May Street in Hood River. Parents are welcome to drop in whenever they can.
